System setup screen keeps popping up on boot:
- This can occur if the screws are too tight when installing the touch screen, causing interference between the touch screen and other components. Loosen the mounting screws to resolve the issue.
Environmental temperature is too high or too low:
- Extreme temperatures may cause thermal expansion or contraction of the touch screen. Test by adjusting the temperature (cool down or warm up the environment) to see if the issue is resolved.
Touch drift (touch position is inaccurate):
- To recalibrate the touch screen, follow these steps (for resistive touch screens only):
- Power off the touch screen.
- Press and hold the touch screen while powering it on again. The screen will automatically enter the system settings interface.
- Select “Touch Calibration.”
- Tap the center of the 5 calibration points in sequence and wait for the program interface to appear.
Touch screen deformation or damage due to pressure:
- If the touch screen has been deformed or damaged from excessive pressure, it may need repair.
Water or oil ingress:
- If water or oil has seeped into the touch screen, it can cause touch malfunctions. Ensure the environment is dry and clean to avoid this issue.
Excessive dust in the working environment:
- Prolonged exposure to dust can cause particles to penetrate the touch screen, leading to malfunction. Regularly clean the work area and the screen.
Touch screen is damaged:
- If the touch screen is unresponsive due to damage, return it to the manufacturer for after-sales service.
Broken touch glass (TP) or damaged LCD screen:
- If the touch glass or LCD is broken, the device may not respond to touch. Return the device to the manufacturer for glass replacement.
