
Model selection
When using, please pay attention to selecting the correct model. The key screen needs to select ASTK028 in the software.

Button Description
If you do not check the option of using an external keyboard in the parameter settings, the 7 buttons correspond to the internal addresses LB101-LB107 of the screen. By pressing the buttons, the corresponding bit addresses can be set, and users can use them for macro logic control

If you check the external keyboard, the up key, down key, right key, and confirm key are fixed functions and do not support customization. The ECS, START, and STOP keys can be customized. In addition to being function keys, the 7 keys will set LB101-LB107 when operated. For the corresponding bit addresses of the keys, refer to Table 1-1.

When the external keyboard is not checked:
If the external keyboard is not checked, if you press the START~SET 7 buttons, only LB101-LB107 will be set, and there will be no other functions (as shown in the figure below). Customers can use it for macro logic control. The bit address corresponding to each button refers to Table 1-1.


When the external keyboard is checked:
If the external keyboard is checked, if you press the 7 buttons START~SET, in addition to setting LB101-LB107, it can also be used for other functions. 1. When the START, ECS, and STOP keys are not checked for key binding, clicking the button will set LB101-LB103, and there will be no other effect (as shown below). Pressing the START key will set LB101, pressing the STOP key will set LB102, and pressing the ESC key will set LB103. It can be used by customers for macro logic control.

If the [Bound Key] of the operable control is checked, it can be used to trigger the operation control; for example, if the screen button is bound to ESC, when the ESC key is clicked, the screen button will be manipulated to jump to the specified screen (menu screen), and LB103 will also be set. Similarly, if binding 1, the START key can be used to manipulate the screen button, and LB101 will be set. If binding 2, the STOP key can be used to operate the screen button, and LB102 will be set. Therefore, customers can use the corresponding bit address for macro logic control when operating the control.

In the screen, operable controls have white borders, and selected control has red borders. To switch the control to be operated, use the UP, DOWN, and RIGHT keys to select the control to be operated. After selecting, click the SET key to operate the control. The bits corresponding to the UP, DOWN, RIGHT, and SET keys will also be set (refer to Table 1-1 for the corresponding addresses of the keys).

If you check the option to use an external keyboard and select the keyboard input mode, use the UP, DOWN and RIGHT keys to select the numeric control to be modified. After selecting the numeric control, click SET to confirm and a numeric keyboard will pop up. When entering a value, use the UP, DOWN and RIGHT keys to select a number. The selected number will be displayed with a red background. Click the SET key to confirm the selected value on the numeric keyboard. Press the ESC key to exit the keyboard. When the key is operated, the bit address corresponding to the key will be set (refer to Table 1-1).

Suppose you check the option to use the external keyboard and select the key modification mode. In that case, you can modify the value by using the up, down and right keys instead of popping up the value keyboard for modification. As shown in the figure below, if the value control has an input function, there will be a white border, and the selected value control will display a red border. After selecting the value control, the first click of the SET key is to confirm the value modification of the selected value control. After confirmation, the rightmost bit of the value in the value control starts to flash. By right-shifting the RIGHT key to select other bits of the value on the value control, the selected bit will flash, and then press the UP key once to add 1, and press the DOWN key once to subtract 1. Click the SET key again to confirm the completion of the value modification. If you want to exit without modifying during the modification, click the ESC key to exit the value modification. When the key is operated, the bit address corresponding to the key will be set (refer to Table 1-1).

Notes
Notes on screen layout:
1. Input controls should be as large as possible in the same column in the vertical direction and aligned left and right!
2. Input controls should be as aligned up and down as possible in the same row in the vertical direction!
3. You cannot use [Picture Display] to add background images on the screen. If the customer needs their own pictures as backgrounds, you can make the layout and base image of the screen into background images, right-click on the screen–>Properties–>Bitmap, and import the prepared background image for use!

For example, as shown in the figure below, make the input control transparent and place it in the corresponding position:

- The operable control will display a white border. Use the button to select it, and it will display a red border after selection!
- ASTK028 supports historical alarm records, but please note that historical alarms will be written into flash, and the flash life is only about 100,000 times!
