AMZ and AMT Series Flashing Firmware Guide

Using AMZ070W01 as an example (other models follow a similar procedure):

Note: The SD card needs to be formatted as FAT32 and have a capacity of less than 32GB.

First Method

  • Open the location of the software files, find the file named “Firmware,” and double-click to open it.
  • Find the AMZ070W01.bin file in the folder and copy it to the root directory of the SD card.
  • The copied flash file is named recover.bin.
  • Then insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the touch screen.

Re-power on the touch screen. The touch screen will be black for a while. Wait for about 30 seconds, unplug the SD card on the touch screen, power off and restart again, and then use the software to download the configuration.

Second Method

  • Insert the SD card into the computer and format the SD card.
  • Double-click to open the image USB tool.
  • Double-click to open the image USB tool
  1. Image selection file: FS118MB.img;
  2. Device selection SD card root directory;
  3. Click: Write button.
  • Open the AMZ070W01bin folder in the startup card folder

(1) Select the sdinit.bat file, right-click and click Edit, and change the path to the SD card root directory.

(2) After editing, save and double-click to run the sdinit.bat file.

  • Remove the SD card, insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the touch screen, and power on the touch screen. The touch screen will display the following information:

Tip: This means that the four files boot0, boot1, logo, and exec are missing

  • Do not remove the SD card, and then use a USB cable to connect the HMI and the computer. After the touch screen is powered on again, the computer will recognize two SD cards (SD_DISK1 and SD_DISK2). Open SD_DISK1, open the AMZ070W01bin folder in the burning card directory, and copy the bin file in it to the SD_DISK1 directory.
  • Copy the bin file of the same model as your screen from the fifth file Firmware in the installation location of the writing software to the bin folder in SD_DISK1 and rename it to exec.bin (these four bin files are the four files that failed to open in step 5)

Note: The exec.bin file is the corresponding bottom layer file (AMZ070W01.bin). When burning the latest bottom layer, copy the AMZ070W01.bin file in the installation directory to the corresponding folder of the burning card and rename it to exec.bin.

  • After the copying is completed, power on the touch screen again. After powering on, the touch screen will automatically update the missing 4 files.
  • After the update is complete, unplug the SD card from the touch screen, power off and restart, and then re-download the configuration.
